  1. Shanna, So cool! I love how these blog posts are taking different shape while conveying a similar message. Now tell me, if not here drop me an email, did this take you longer than the traditional paragraph post? What do you mode do you prefer?

  2. This did take me longer only because at first, I could not figure out why blogger was not uploading the video. I was actually getting extremely frustrated because it was not uploading and I had put a lot of effort into the video. I was going to e-mail you explaining everything, but instead I searched for a video describing how to upload videos to blogger and figured out that it was too big MB-wise so then I had to cut it down into segments and I thought it was the best division.
I liked that you had us do it this way. It definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone. Making a video was the technology I was "most comfortable" with to ensure I covered all of the requirements for the assignment. I would like to practice more with all of the other technologies we have been learning about, but was not comfortable, as I said due to fear it would not upload here onto blogger properly.

  3. I also liked this idea because it allowed us to use technology to enhance/extend our communication. Research says we should be able to perform the tasks we want out students to do, so why not practice now? I wouldn't want to be up in front of my class with no idea what I'm doing! It did take a little longer but because I was more interested I kept at it.

  4. Awesome job!! I tried to do a video post as well with my Flip Video camera but I gave up because it was taking too much time. I really need to sit down and play around with my blog in order to figure out how to do things like this!

I also can't figure out how to post without signing in to a blog?

  5. Shanna, excellent job with your podcast/webcast. This was an excellent way to discuss what you learned from the reading by incorporating Web 2.0 tools. It's always uncomfortable trying new things but in the end I bet your very proud of your accomplishment and you are willing to try it again. Same goes for students, when they are successful at something new they are more willing to try again.
Shanna anything can be into blogger, if you need help let me know. As you saw from my latest blog post I mean anything, all you need is the java code.

  6. Shanna, I am liking how you did your podcast. I was honestly considering doing something similar, but I don't like how my voice sounds on a recording! This is a great way to hold online "lectures" with students, especially because they can leave comments and questions. Nice! I will have to get over my self consciousness if I want to do something like this!
